Kapsch CarrierCom AG has sold the MissisSIPpi product group to TELES AG
At the end of 2007, Kapsch CarrierCom AG sold the product group MissisSIPpi to TELES AG. In the past few years, the Kapsch’s MissisSIPpi Hosted IP PBX has been successfully installed at customers such as Tele2 or T-Mobile Austria. In 2005, the solution was distinguished with the coveted Austrian tel.con 2005 Award. This asset deal was a result of a new strategical orientation of Kapsch CarrierCom, and had a purchase price in the low million Euros.
The solution sold includes the development, production and sales of Kapsch’s MissisSIPpi Hosted IP PBX. With the MissiSIPpi Hosted IP PBX solution, mobile and fixed network operators and service providers can offer voice services over the IP network. The product group complements the TELES range of products for next generation networks. Together with TELES, Kapsch will continue to actively sell MissisSIPpi Hosted IP PBX solutions in the market.
MissisSIPpi Hosted IP PBX is one of the many innovations, which Kapsch CarrierCom continues to develop for fixed and mobile network operators. For many years now, the company focus has been on developing products for carriers and service providers.
